The administrative geography of Greece describes the regions managed by the various levels of government within the country according to Programme Kallikratis. Programme Kallikratis is the most recent structure of administrative geography in Greece and was announced on the newspaper of the government, Sheet 87, June 7 2010 (N3852_2010). The structure of Kallikratis consists of various levels. At the top level are thirteen Districts (Perifereia) and are divided into several Subdistricts (Perifereiakh_Enothta) each. In addition, every Subdistrict consists of one or more Municipalities (Dhmos) and in turn comprise Submunicipalities (Dhmotikh_Enothta). The ontology has been populated with relevant data that are available in the Greek open government data portal.
